How to negotiate the lots on the screen

When you access the CBC Agronegócios Bid & Ask screen, you will see a number of purchase and sale proposals.

To interact with one of them, just click on top of the lot in which you are interested.

When the lot opens, you will have access to all the proposal’s information.  All you need to do is scroll down the screen to see the information that has been input.  To interact, click on one of the available buttons, described below.

Interacting with a Purchase Indication, you can choose:

  • “Counter-indication/Sell”: Use the comments field to send a proposal or question.  Deals cannot be closed with this option.
  • “Sell/Offer”: Use to send a firm sales offer, with stipulated time.  Deals can be closed with this option

Interacting with a Sales Indication, you can choose:

  • “Counter-indication/Purchase”: Use the comments field to send a proposal or question.  Deals cannot be closed with this option.
  • “Purchase/Firm Bid”: Use to send a firm purchase bid, with stipulated time.  Deals can be closed with this option.

Interacting with a Firm Purchase Bid, you can choose:

  • “Sell/Offer”: Use to send a firm sales offer, with stipulated time.  Deals can be closed with this option.
  • “Close Deal”: If you agree with everything in the proposal, you can close the deal, though it remains subject to confirmation by the party that input the bid, thus approving the seller.  The system foresees this action in “Subject to Approval”, whereby the party making the counter-offer closes the deal stipulating a time for approval.

Interacting with a Firm Sales Offer, you can choose:

  • “Buy/Firm Bid”: Use to send a firm purchase bid, with stipulated time.  Deals can be closed with this option.
  • “Close Deal”: If you agree with everything in the proposal, you can close the deal, though it remains subject to confirmation by the party that input the offer, thus approving the buyer.  The system foresees this action in “Subject to Approval”, whereby the party making the counter-offer closes the deal stipulating a time for approval.

Clicking on one of the buttons will open the form containing the proposal’s information.  You can change any field and resend it to the party making the offer.  He will receive an e-mail saying he has received a proposal, as well as a sign on the “My Operations” screen.  He can see the alterations made that are highlighted and he send a new reply.
